Two friends go on a cheerleading competition in which they intend to start. During the trip, stop at this isolated gas station, where he will learn and Chad Oliver. Soon after, all four are captured by the sadistic murderers.
It played out a lot like “Carver”, another excellent horror movie. There were some original methods used to kill people in the film, and the bad guys were especially gruesome. I guess I’m in the minority when I say I loved this movie, but it just goes to show that there isn’t any one style of movie that is right or wrong. If you like the horror-gore genre, I definitely recommend you check this out. If you are more concerned with quality acting, then don’t (although I will say that I was so focused on the action that I didn’t notice anything wrong with the acting, although the foreign accent did seem a bit odd.)

Bulletface (2010)

The story is set along the Mexico/California Border, principally in Imperial Beach, CA. It concerns a female DEA agent, Dara Maren, who, in protecting her petty criminal younger brother, gets herself arrested and imprisoned in a nightmarish penal colony outside Tijuana. You can guess how bad it gets in there — prison officials even harvest organs from the inmates. While she’s in prison, Dara’s brother is murdered by a drug lord who’s creating a new DNA-altering drug made from human spinal fluid tapped from the living. Hundreds of dead bodies are turning up along the Border, and the drug addicts become something less than human. The drug is so addictive that even law enforcement and government officials are on the stuff. A rogue FBI agent bribes the prison officials to let Dara out to avenge her brother’s murder as well as bring down the drug lord in ways the Feds cannot. When Dara comes out of prison, she is not the same person who went in. The catch? She only gets a 60-hour get-out-of-jail card and must return to the prison to serve out her 20-year sentence, or the FBI agent, who got her out, must take her place.

Blood Feast 2: All U Can Eat

A cannibal caterer kills various young women in preperation for a ritual feast for a long-dormant Egyptian goddess that has him under its control.
Blood Feast 2 is a welcome treat to fans of campy black comedy (as long as they can handle large amounts of blood and gore). If you liked the first one (or even if you didn’t), you should check this out. It’s a big improvement over the original. The gore looks great. I haven’t laughed out loud this much in years. You can’t ask for a better film from H.G. Lewis.
